Normal stool colour, plus maroonish.

Been 2 days i realize that my stool has a part of normal colour stool, plus some maroonish stool. The way i see it is i put it on a tissue to really observe the details and yes its all entirely normal brown. Its just the look of it some is maroonish. Have this happen to you guys before?

Hello and welcome to the forum. Thanks for your question.  I recommend you check in with your doctor.  Did this happen once or is this ongoing?  If it is ongoing, it would be best to speak to your doctor about this.  A maroon stool could mean blood in the  middle part of your digestive tract.  Maroon stools, which is caused by partial digestion of the blood in the intestine often arises from the small intestine (jejunum, ileum) and proximal colon, but the color also depends in part on how rapidly the blood travels through the intestines.  Intestinal infection or irritable bowel syndrome or diverticulitis and various other things can cause this.  So, again, please see your doctor and let us know how you are doing. https://www.medicinenet.com/stool_color_changes/article.htm
