Pain and pressure under right ribcage . . .update?

I have found a lot of posts from several years ago that describe the same symptoms I am having.I have  a pressure and pain under my right ribcage. Sometimes it is a sharp, piercing pain that seems to radiate down my side and to my back. I also often have tenderness above my right hipbone and in the area between my ribcage and hipbone. I only have these feelings on the right side. I have very little appetite, and have lost about 35 pounds in the last six months. This is after trying to lose babyweight for 6 years, so this is a definite change for me. I feel nauseated A LOT, but never throw up. I also am constipated for the last two months or so. I have very rarely been constipated. I have had a complete GI workup, with only an enlarged liver showing in CT at one point, but later was normal when an ultrasound was done.
It seems like there were many people posting with these same symptoms a couple of years ago, but I haven't found any recent posts. I wonder if anyone ever got an accurate diagnosis/treatment. I am getting a little desperate. I had someone tell me yesterday at an ER that when a woman comes in complaining of stomach or reproductive problems, it is always in her head. I know that is not true, but I am beginning to feel like people are thinking that, as nothing has shown up in any test.
Please respond if you have any information!!

A fatty, enlarged liver can cause RUQ pain due to packaging issues. There can be cholestatic problems as well, and this can cause anything from a dull ache to sharp pains. Only a good doctor can give you a proper diagnosis though.
