Pain under ribs, into shoulders, worse after eating

Hi, for the past week I have been in persistent pain (localised to under my right rib/upper right abdomen but shooting into my right shoulder as well.) An ultrasound revealed no inflammation but blood tests indicated elevated CRP levels - indicating inflammation but no infection. I am in severe pain of which nothing seems to be helping and which worsens after eating at night. Has anyone suffered similar symptoms or have any suggestions? I'm desperate

I'm sorry to hear that.  The location where you feel pain is pretty common for those who have gallbladder problems. The pain can spread and radiate down as you say.  I had an issue with my gallbladder.  The pain was like you describe and started to increase and eventually had a bad bout and was possibly a gallstone passing as I was vomiting it was so painful.  For me, I lost some weight and modified my diet.  This has caused me to not have flair ups with my gallbladder.  So, I'd look into your gallbladder. Let me know what you think.
