Possible tapeworm infection
26M, US, non smoker/drinker. 184cm, 73kg. Got off flagyl 2 days ago.
Basically my anus has been super itchy and I'm skinny anyway so I decided to look at my stool. I did that in the past but didn't know those "sesame seeds" could have actually been eggs. I did find a few actual sesame seeds because I opened them up and I could see a seed split in half but one wouldn't open up as easily so I snapped it in half and squeezed out each side separately. This (NOT NSFW) is what it looked like. I'm getting a bit worried after reading about tapeworms going into the brain and stuff. Could you let me know what medication I'm supposed to take if that is actually what I think it is?
