Prilosec, Protonix, Previcid side effects?

Is anyone taking any of these drugs?  If so can you tell me if you are having side effects from them?  I currently take one 20mg Prilosec tablet and they seem to make me dizzy and light headed.  I also notice pain in my lower abdomin.

Hmm...I took Protonix and Prilosec for a few years.  I can't really say that there are any side effects...or any that I experienced.  I definitely didn't get dizzy or anything like that.  But one thing to remember if you take Prilosec with food..its almost like you didn't even take it.  You need to take it on an empty stomach..prefereably as soon as your feet hit the floor in the am getting out of bed.  Then eat breakfast about 30 minutes after you take it.  With Protonix, it doesn't matter if you take it w/ or w/out food, bc it is time released.  Just eat normal.  You also may want to take a b-complex vitamen supplement, bc proton pump inhibitors like protoix, prilosec, and nexium have been shown to deplete vitamen b...

Hi.  I take Prevacid.  If I wait to long to eat, longer than say 45 minutes or so, I will experience some lightheadedness and maybe dizzy.  My stomach will also start to feel weird...not pain,,,not nausea..but somewhere in the middle.  So now, I eat about 30 minutes after I take it, and I am fine.  Hope this helps.
