Rectal Prolapse Surgery

I had a abdominal surgery to treat a rectal prolapse and uterine prolapse 8 weeks ago.  I had a rectopexy and a resection.  For the most part I feel ok but I have been having frequent trips to the bathroom sometime upwards of 15 times a day.  I am taking magnesium citrate and a probiotic to keep things moving along or it turns into a spasms.  Does this improve over time?  My surgeon wasn't able to offer answers.

Your recovery will be determined by your efforts and habits after the operation. It is guaranteed to give you life-long relief if you'll do your part like avoiding habits that led you to having rectal prolapse before.
