Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease can be cured. It is solely based on your diet management, and aid of antacids if needed. Acid reflux comes and goes with different time periods.
Pain on the left side of your abdomen is commonly caused by a spastic colon, also known as Irritable Bowel Syndrome. However, it is best to get yourself examined to rule out serious causes such as Crohn's disease and bowel cancer.
Useful tips:-
• Never eat food late
• Do not lie down soon after eating
• Eat small amounts of food at regular intervals
• Try to avoid as much red meat as possible. Red meat is a high risk of cancers
• Always inspect your stools. Shape, color, blood/mucus present, etc. Very important, considering some colors can class as medical emergencies. For example, blood on stool can be a sign of bowel cancer.
GERD is often accompanied by IBS, so it can agitate your stomach.
No bloating at all. When i sleep horizontally its in the central but throughout the day or after a meal its normally on the upper left side of my abdominal. My medication is going to finish tomorrow. How long does a normal case of indigestion be cured ?I have a camp in few days and i want to be fit to attend it
Where is the pain located in the upper abdomen? Left, right or central?
Indigestion can be a cause of it. Sounds like it may be a sign of dyspepsia (indigestion). Nothing to worry about if that is the case. See how the medication goes and book a follow up appointment with the doctor.
I have never heard of the constant hunger and constant lip dehydration, so I cannot guarantee a specific possible diagnosis.
Possible causes:-
• Overstretch of stomach
• Dyspepsia
• Peptic ulcer
• Gastritis
• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease
• Trapped wind
• Constipation
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome
• Coeliac disease
• Crohn's disease
• Esophegitis
See how it goes with your medication first. I have similar symptoms as you, and the doctor told me that I could have dyspepsia. But everyone is different.
