SOME ONE PLEASE HELP MY STOMACH?

So 2 Sundays ago i had this big buffet and i ate quite a lot but i normally eat a lot but nothing happens but after eating this buffet,I felt constantly hungry ,dehydrated(my lips are dry), and i have dull near my upper abdominal area.I also have the urge to vomit but i have yet to vomit .For the past few days ,my stomach has been annoying me after i eat , i feel very hungry after i take food or even fluids and the dull pain is also there, when i lay down in a horizontal position the stomach growls more and the dull pain increases.I went to the clinic yesterday and the doctor said it was indigestion. He gave me medicines for gastric(Pantoprazole Winthrop),digestion(Motilium),wind(Axcel… and he also advised me to eat light food and non-fat based food but i feel really hungry and i feel much better after eating but the hungry still never goes away. . Will this medicines help ? Am i really suffering from indigestion?Should be eating like normal ?And my lips feel so dry no matter how much water i drink. Is this something serious?SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME

Are you experiencing any bloating? Some causes can mimic you being hungry (as being told by my GP).

Where is the pain located in the upper abdomen? Left, right or central?

Indigestion can be a cause of it. Sounds like it may be a sign of dyspepsia (indigestion). Nothing to worry about if that is the case. See how the medication goes and book a follow up appointment with the doctor.

I have never heard of the constant hunger and constant lip dehydration, so I cannot guarantee a specific possible diagnosis.

Possible causes:-

• Overstretch of stomach
• Dyspepsia
• Peptic ulcer
• Gastritis
• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease
• Trapped wind
• Constipation
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome
• Coeliac disease
• Crohn's disease
• Esophegitis

See how it goes with your medication first. I have similar symptoms as you, and the doctor told me that I could have dyspepsia. But everyone is different.

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease can be cured. It is solely based on your diet management, and aid of antacids if needed. Acid reflux comes and goes with different time periods.

Pain on the left side of your abdomen is commonly caused by a spastic colon, also known as Irritable Bowel Syndrome. However, it is best to get yourself examined to rule out serious causes such as Crohn's disease and bowel cancer.

Useful tips:-

• Never eat food late
• Do not lie down soon after eating
• Eat small amounts of food at regular intervals
• Try to avoid as much red meat as possible. Red meat is a high risk of cancers
• Always inspect your stools. Shape, color, blood/mucus present, etc. Very important, considering some colors can class as medical emergencies. For example, blood on stool can be a sign of bowel cancer.

GERD is often accompanied by IBS, so it can agitate your stomach.
