Hi and thanks. This is her husband. I took her to the ER tonight. They aren't yet sure about the cause of the burning pain, but it mostly eased by the time we got there. However, by then she had some serious pressure and pain on the sides above her waist. They did find she has anemia to the point of needing a couple of units of blood. The pain she originally posted about was pretty bad, she could hardly walk and was doubled over. She didn't take anything for the pain, though they may give her something at the hospital. She will see a hematologist in about 10 days, meanwhile they are still investigating the original pain/pressure. I hope it's not diverticulitis as that sounds pretty painful. She has no fever though. Thanks for the info.
Do you have fever or nausea? Is the pain the same or worse? One side more than the other? Did you have normal bowel movements?Have you taken any thing for pain?I had an inflamed infected Diverticuli and it is extremely painful not just uncomfortable,Could barley walk.I don't think it's the wine. Fill me in a little more on your symptoms. If it's super painful see some one as soon as possible.Ovarian cyst are common and have similar symptoms.Unfortunately I know of these things first hand.
