Severe abdominal pain..but no answers?

Hi I'm a17 year old female and since the beginning of August I've been having abdominal pain around my belly button area. I've had and Upper GI and lower bowel exam, colonoscopy, and endoscopy but no one can seem to figure it out. The pain is on going and gets worse while I'm eating. I feel nauseas constantly and after/while I eat I find myself running to the bathroom with the dry heaves. I have little to no appetite and have lost an unnecessary 6 pounds. Any suggestions?

It sounds like it may be a Functional GI problem. Check out: http://www.iffgd.org and http://www.romecriteria.org/criteria

With the last link you can judge your own symptoms and see if anything fits. So even if it's not, you know what it's not... if that makes sense.

Answer the above question about location, be as specific as possible? Is the 6 pound weight loss since August? Are you experiencing any major stress that besides that which your discomfort causes you?  Have you been tested for any food allergies?

Right or left side? Is it more above your belly button or below?
