Severe burning and chest pain????

I am a 26 year old female and have had this burning sensation on the left side of my throat for a month and recently has went up into the back of my mouth and down into my chest, and in the upper portion of my arms. It is CONSTANT! My doctor took a look at my throat and said it looked irritated and did give me amoxicillon incase there was any bacterial infection, I have been on it for 6 days now. I also have an extremely dry mouth and a white tongue that tingles sometimes (gum seems to help a bit). I have this dull pain in the middle of my breastbone that makes my chest feel really heavy. When I walk up the stairs to my apartment or do anything remotely active II feel like my heart is going to pound of my chest. I am very active, sports, exercise etc and cannot even do those things bc of this awful feeling!!! Some please give me advice :( I do suffer from anxiety but feel if I didn't have all these symptoms then I wouldn't suffer as much!

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Please be patient in waiting for a reply to your question.  Almost all questions are answered within 24 hours of being posted.  We are all just volunteers doing this in our spare time to help others.  Did your doctor test you for a bacterial infection before giving you antibiotics?  I would recommend seeing your doctor again.  It sounds like you might have thrush and/or GERD
