Sick and tired of being sick and tired

Can some one tell me the symptoms of gallbladder disease? Also my right kidney is smaller than my left kidney and the radiologist cannot get a good picture of my pancreas. What does this mean? I have been sick off and on for 14 months. Vomiting, chronic diarrhea (that never goes away), nausea, pain that is under my right rib cage that radiates down into my lower right side and then up under my right breast. The pain then radiated around my right side into my back. This has been persistent for 7 days now. Any ideas from anyone? Please help.

I had my HIDA scan today. It was the most painful experience I have ever had in my life other than childbirth. I vomited and tried to ball up into the fetal position due to abdominal, side and right back pain within seconds after the cck was injected into my I.V. Of course, they radiologists couldn't tell me anything. They just said for me to be expecting a call from my doctor by tomorrow.
To answer you earlier questions, My amylase and lipase levels were normal.
The GI told my the scar tissue was throughout my colon but it was worse about "halfway" up. He did not take biopsies during my colonoscopy but he did with the endoscopy. Also, he tested me for celiac disease via blood test. In all honesty I feel that I may be lactose intolerant if anything but I sure don't mind being tested for celiac disease again. I just want to be "normal" again one day. If possible.
Thank you

A mention of lipase or amylase levels would suggest they checked your pancreatic enzyme levels.

When they did the colonoscopy and found scar tissue, when in the colon was that? Did they do any biopsies at that point?

Celiac disease may not show up for a number of years in the small intestine/duodenum. So if the docs are going by the 'look' or a biopsy of the duodenum to say you don't have celiac, it's possible that information could be incorrect. Many with gluten issues have symptoms of acid reflux and duodenitis as 'symptoms.' Diagnosis may only come several years later, unfortunately. Gluten problems can also cause increased ejection fraction issues, which can resemble gallbladder discomfort.....just something to keep in mind.

I'm not discounting the fact you have a gallstone, just trying to arm you with facts to consider.

I do not have celiac disease. I was tested for that over a year ago. I did have an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. Those tests revealed several ulcers in my stomach and duodenum and massive scar tissue in my bowels. They had no explanation for any of those results. The pain that I have now is definitely not ulcer pain. The pain is very different and it is in a different part of my abdomen. I have had 2 abdominal ultrasounds in the past 5 days. The 1st ultrasound revealed a 5 mm gallstone but only when I was in the prone position. The 2nd ultrasound was "normal" other than the fact that they can't get any pictures of my pancreas at all. Thank you for replying to my post.

I am scheduled to have a HIDA scan in the next few days. My liver levels are good. The only things that my blood work showed was high cholesterol, high white blood cell count, low red blood cell count, low hemoglobin and low hematocrit, What would the pancreatic blood test be called and I can let you know what the results were on that as well. Thank you for replying to my post.

It could be your gallbladder or it might be Celiac disease as two possibilities.  Did stones not show up?  If not, get a HIDA scan.

The symptoms you're describing could be related to GB problems, but not every individual has what could be considered to be the 'classic' signs - right-sided pain under the ribs that radiates to the back and possibly up to the right shoulderblade. Some individuals have 'only' an upset stomach and belching, or very minimal discomfort.

Have you had a HIDA scan with CCK injection? Are your liver and pancreatic enzyme levels elevated?

'Paired' organs can be of different sizes. It probably means very little, but ask your doc to be sure.
