i am 20mgOmepr azole for inflamed hitaus hernia after having tried severl heart pills that did not agree.This has been increased to 40mg but the pain from my hiatus hernia is still present specially in my back and loads of indigestion , starts after breakfast been on these now since a week this thursday but have found that my ankles have swollen and my feet also get wheezy saw from sheet in pills that these are rare side effects so cannot decide  whether   to go back doctor.or not it is beginning to make me fed up.Has anyone else had these side effects and what did they do about them

Have been back to Doc today blood pressure a little high but has put me on different hiatus hernia pills then actually took my pressure three times she said not to worry but am going back next week appointment as the side effects from the previous tabs were awful. Thank you for your commments

your experiencing peripheral edema...go to the hospital ASAP...this is a sign of heart failure or extremely high or low blood pressure...plz dont hesitate and go! and i would just get the balloon dialation to fix the hiatal hernia
