Stomach problems

Hi, I am back and have posted in the past about my symptoms. I am on my way to a gastro doctor next week but I am still wondering if anyone is experiencing these symptoms.

fatigue, anxiety, depression, shortly after eating as well as a constant stomach pain (food or no food it just burns). Its wierd, my veins (especially by hands) hurt and my joints muscles ache as well.

The stomach pain is AlWAYS there and has been for over a year now.

Sometimes I get palpitations after eating, as well as constipation after meals. Stool is always different.. sometimes dirreah.

Often I feel like im dying.  I always look like im "high" or "stoned" and it gets worse after meals.

For example today, I went to work feeling horrible, very spacy,
and felt like I had a hangover from eating food the night before. After some dirreah I ate a biscuit for breakfast which made me feel even worse. Ate a  another meal at 5pm, which caused me to get so tired I had to lay down when I got home -- fell asleep 3 hours. Woke up feeling like I never slept, joints hurting, muscles hurting, sinus headache, and foggy brain. Now because I took that 3 hour nap, my body is wide awake at 2am. Most of the symptoms went away, but I still have a headache and my stomach burns 24/7.

Ive done all a primary and endocrineologist tests, now im off to the gastro man. Anyone else have these symptoms

Im 22, been running working out for 4 years now takin me vitamins, and do not drink as much alchohol as the average person my age or smoke. So im thoroughly confused

I had the 6 hour blood glucose test and had one episode of low blood sugar at the 2 hour mark but I noticed no symptoms at that time.

Hi there, I too have had all these symptoms.  I was diagnosed with 2 bleeding ulcers in December of 2006 from years of OTC use of ibuprophen and anti-inflammatory meds and lost half my blood (It is not from H-Pylori).  I had to have a blood transfusion to bring my blood count back up.  It was down to only a count of 4 and I was in ICU.  In Jan 2007 after repeated gallbladder attacks, I had my gallbladder and stones removed.  To this day I have pain in my stomach that doubles me over in the middle of the night and so I get up and take a swig of Gavascon to calm it down.  It is pain right by my duodenum due to my ulcers.
My GI Doc says that they should be healed by now, as I take 4 prilosec a day, tums, gavascon, malox.. you name it.. I also have very achey joints too!  my knees, my hips, my lower back, my calves, elbows and nuckles.  why??  I have blood drawn every 6 weeks to monitor my low iron deficiency.  I was checked for CD (Celiac Disease) and they told me today, that I don't have that.  They will check for Zollinger-Ellison next.  Also, since the weekend in December that I was so anemic and got so sick and had to have the blood transfusion... from that weekend on I have heard a whooshing sound in my ears when I lay down, like marching going on, I know it is blood flow, but why is it doing that and where is it coming from?  At times I can feel it when I am sitting up on the couch, but at rest.  I exercise daily on my eliptical and rowing machine and do go for walks in the evening when I have energy to do so and some days I don't have the energy to go very far with it.  I too could fall asleep at the drop of a hat but then am awake in the middle of the night with stomach pain.  What a vicious circle.  Any ideas?  I am getting a 2nd endoscopy and my 1st colonoscopy in July.  whoo hoo!  can't wait for that.  :-/   If anyone has any ideas as to what it could possibly be, please point me in the right direction.  The doc says my iron is still low, but that i am not anemic anymore.
Thanks all :)

Ask your GI doctor about Celiac Disease when you see him/her. It is estimated that over 1/130 people have it yet under 3% are diagnosed. If your problem or one of your problems id CD, your initial problem would be when you eat bread/biscuits/pasta, anything with gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats). After a while, your body begins to not receive the nutrients it should. With malnutrition, all of your other symptoms can occur. Fatigue, foggy thinking, malaise, joint and muscle pain, insomnia. I had EVERY ONE of those symptoms before I was diagnosed with CD. All your doctor has to do is run a blood panel with the other labs I'm sure they'll want to do. This panel can rule it out.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon
