Stomach spasms

I’m really hoping someone can help me as I feel  I cannot go on any longer suffering with this condition,
I have spent the past 9 months suffering with what I can only describe as a debiliting illness which so far doesnt seem to have a label, In October last year I started to suffer with stomach pain, this would come and go all day and has now got so bad that most days I can hardly move with the pain and discomfort. The pain starts with a gripping spasm which holds onto me very intensly for about 15 to 21 seconds, this then releases and my tummy will give an almighty and very uncomfortable rumble, this is never ending.

My stomach will also rumble and churns all day and my muscles constantly contract and  when I eat food I feel it racing through my stomach at an alarming rate. The spasms are so intense that I am doubled  over in pain and I also live with an over powering nauseas feeling which comes and goes all day. I have a lot of excess wind as well. In the morning my stomach is flat but during the day it swells up and is twice the size by evening, I cant even drive with my seatbelt on in the car as the slight pressure from the belt just intensifies the pain.  I had an endoscopy carried out in January and nothing was found, I also had an ultrasound to check for gallstones and a pelvic ultrasound as well these both came back negative.

My condition is getting steadily worse as time goes on, I have been quite ill over the past two years, I suffered from urticaria which was very severe and spread all over my body (this has now gone), I had reoccuring chest infections (I am asthmatic) and was ill with this for a long time, pneumonia was then found in my system and I was treated for this. I have been off work for 2 years.
I have also noticed that thid condition  is worse when I am on my feet but more manageable if I am resting in bed. I find it hard to get to sleep at night and recently I have started waking during the night with this overpowering nausea. Up until 2 years ago  I was a  a fairly healthy person,  I dont drink or smoke and am a keen walker but my stomach has left me with no quality of life anymore and I am desperate to get better. I Undergone  a bronchoscopy in april last year and have been attending  colposcopy for 2 borderline smears in the past year.

I have tried many things to find a solution, including cutting out wheat and dairy products, I have tried lots of natural remidies and even drove to Troon to visit a homoeopathic doctor but his treatment didnt help. I have been on the following medication, Lansoprazole, omeprazole, colofac, ranitidine, esomeprazole, peppermint oil capsules, meteclorpramide, prochlorperazine, buccastem, chlorpramazine, betahistine, temazepam, peptac, milk of magnesia, rennie deflatine, and windease. I currently take 8 buscopan a day, 1 trazadone daily, and 1 to 3 motilium daily.
One doctor suggested IBS to me but my own doctor said that IBS tends to come and go whereas I suffer this all day every day so she didn’t think that it could be this. During the two years I have been ill I  have been prescribed approx 8 courses of anti-biotics and about 9 courses of prednisoline. I hope someone can help

These are just general ideas, becuz I don't know what the real medical problem might be.  I agree with one of the above posters, get Activia yogurt from the grocery store in the yogurt section, and follow the directions on the package.  Also, I think you are taking so many medications, that the pills alone may be doing this to you, so visit your general doc and see if he can cut back on some of the stuff you take.  In addition, the other poster pointed out how one of your meds can cause your problems, so be sure to ask about that when you visit the doctor... I had a medicine that really did a number on my digestive system, took six months for me to figure out which one it was, as the docs didn't know for some reason.  Another thing, store-brand sodas can really goof up your stomach, the cheap ones.  Get name brand sodas instead.  Finally, ordinary alka seltzer dispells gas pretty well, so you can try that, too.  Hope some of this helps.

Sound sto me like reflux/ Gerd  problems..IBS also very likely.. especialy sice your family has history of asthma. also sound like the lining of the mucus in your stamch is thinning which could explain the spasms and the pain.
I think you need to have an irrigation of the colon just to help recover your normal digestiv order . I had similar problems and my GP had prescribe Zelmac which  actualy  works just fine . but i went to see a specialist in Dubai who cut me off all the above medication , nexium , buscopun etc..and prescribed bene-fiber liquid satchets which took three weeks to restore my system .. had alot of constipation in the first three days but it didnt require any additional medication with it and after 3 months i was fully recovered, all the symptom were gone. i would also suggest you cut alchohol, especial red wine caffein, curries and avoid stressful situations..
hope this was helpful.

i have some of your symptoms but my gastroscope proved gastric polyps my colonoscopy proved spastic colon IBS , my gall bladder was sluggish and i had polyps so I had my GB removed that is my first thought you have gallbladder disease  you also sound like you have excessive yeast due to long term use of antibiotics i would start eatting that yorgurt for digestion and i would try lactaid milk and or soy milk ,silk milk and see if you find some relief  walmart sells digestive enzymes amelyse lipase protease papaya dried fruit is good  and ginger if you can eat those cinnamon in your coffee or tea or milk is an antispasmatic  list the foods you eat and jot down the symptoms   try different coffee and see if you notice anything  i cn't use any of those fake coffeemate creamers  and i cna't have any MSG  so i am suspecting you have food intolerances so my first theory would be try those digestive enzymes and buy the other dairy products lactaid  NO DIET SUGAR STUFF my body doesn't like any of it  use real sugar or brown natural sugar or NODDA  try peppermint or spearment teas NO CHAMOMILE teas  let me know what works my sister in law was dx with celiac syndrom  ?
