Stomache ache especially after eating

Could this be a sign of gerd or something worse.  I have discomfort in my stomach all the time it never goes away get gets better with antacids but does not go completly away.  Sometimes I get heart burn with it but usually it is in my upper/middle abdomen.  It is a burning feeling, I was put on a medication for ulcers, it just basically coats my stomach when I eat but that isn't helping so I didn't know if it would still be an ulcer.  I have just never had a stomach ache for this long.  Any suggestions on what I can do to help my stomach or any clue as to what this could be

I'm a nutritionist.  See a traditional doctor and have all the necessary tests.  If nothing comes of it, find a holistic doctor who does a test called a Heidelberg Gastrogram test.  This is the ONLY test that will tell what your stomach's ph is when you eat and when your not eating.  It also tells other things (google it).  If your problem persists, and you don't help from traditional doc's, get this test even if you have to fly out of state.  Good Luck!

Have you ever been tested for H-pylori --- from what I gather it is a common bacteria, but some people who have it are affected more than others -- it is a common cause for ulcers.  You should look it up and ask your doc.  You can have a blood test (apparently sometimes it can be flase negative) should you ever have an EGD they can biopsy for it.
