Upper Stomach Pain After Eating

For about a year now, I have been having upper stomach pain after I have eaten certain foods.  It started out with eggs, but has now progressed to other foods like peanuts, tomatos, squash, zuccinni, and broccoli.  I was able to eat these foods all my life, and now I can no longer eat them without experiencing pain.  The pain usually starts about 30 minutes to an hour after I eat, then continues for about 2-4 hours.  The pain is sharp in the upper portion of my abdomen right below where my ribs meet.  It is not heartburn, as I don't have a burning sensation.  Along with this pain comes nausua, and occasionally vomitting.  The pain will go away faster after I vomit, but not immediately.  It seems that everyday the list of foods that cause this pain gets longer and longer.  Right now, I pretty much just eat a meat and veggie diet because sugary/carb foods also make my stomach upset.  I'm not sick a lot and do not have a family doctor that I go to.  Just looking for a reason to why this might be happening.  Thank you!!

You need to see a Gastroenterologist for a complete evaluation.  This is their specialty and will be able to properly diagnose you.  For this to be getting worse, something is obviously wrong, so don't suffer any longer.  I hope this helps and best wishes.

To be honest it sounds like an ulcer at a first glance.

As it seems to be progressing it seems to me that you obviously need to see a GP for further investigation. It's not something you can deal with yourself regardless of what some folks say on the 'net - you really need to get this checked out.
