Upper Stomach Pains

I have been experiencing upper stomach pains that goes across my whole abdominal area right underneath my diaphram.  This pain feels like I am very hungry and my stomach is signaling to me that I am hungry.  I'm usually not hungry and this pain continues to happen even after I eat.  My appetite has signficantly gone down since the pains have started because they only get worse after I eat.  On a scale from one to ten my pain is around a 4.  Its a more of a throbbing nagging pain and not a sharp pain.  This has been going on for about two weeks now.  I have not lost any weight and I still eat 3 meals a day just less at each meal (i normally have a big appetite so a smaller meal is almost a good thing).  I don't have any other symptoms and I'm not taking any medication.  In all aspects I'm pretty healthly with no problems other than a headache here or there.

I have been having sharp pains in my upper abdomen, and I feel hungry a lot. But after I eat it hurts worse and takes an hour for it to calm down. I don't usually have a big appetite (I weigh 100 pounds and I'm 14, I know I'm underweight) and I have a fat metabolism. Do I need to eat better foods? Please help, I've been close to tears because of this pain.

I had those exact same "weird" pains last year. I was tested positive for H. Pylori (a bacteria in stomach) and had two weeks of antibiotics and it cleared up. However, since then my tests have come back negative but i am still having those same pains a couple times a day. I recommend you get tested for H. Pylori. I was tested for GERD and ulcers with those same symptoms. Hope that helps!

I get the same thing.  I have back pain also and fibromyalgia.  It's very uncomfortable, and I am scheduled for an abdominal ultrasound to check that it's not something serious.  You might want to go to a doctor and see what he says.

If it isn't anything else, maybe you somehow strained or pulled your ab muscles.  Do you work out?  Did you lift something heavy?  I know my pain gets really bad if I try to exercise or reach for something.
