Upset stomach after meals occasionally

Hi
I had an upset stomach around 4 months or more ago, which has now settled down, and at the time my GP examined me and said it was probably indigestion. All is fine now except sometimes I still seem to feel as if I've eaten a bit too much after my evening meals, around 15mins to 30mins after, (not during eating or directly after). Otherwise I'm fine, good appetite, no other symptoms at all, and this doesnt happen often. But I am definitely a worrier and wondered if this full feeling could be something sinister? After having it off and on for 4 months or more I would have thought other symptoms would be there if there was anything serious happening. It doesnt really bother me that much but am I ignoring something? My stools have been normal except today when there seemed to be dark grey parts in them...another worry I suppose...Difficult question I know...

I will try that. Events have moved on a bit,my GP has sent me for an endoscopy; I've lost a few pounds in weight lately, 3 or 4,  and am a skinny 56 year old  so he is playing safe.Hopefully will be clear, fingers crossed. But thanks for the advice...

Keep a food diary of everything you eat. See if this feelings happens when you eat certain things. It could be that something you are eating is triggering indigestion, maybe garlic, onions, tomato, or something else that your stomach is just having trouble digesting. Maybe the food diary will give you your culprit and all you have to do is stop eating that one thing .
