Use of suppositories

Can frequent use of suppositories cause anal cancer.  I have been reading up on anal cancer and I was just wondering what are some of the most common causes of anal cancer.  I have a hard time with bowel movements and was wondering if using suppositories would cause some type of cancer.  If the frequent use of suppositories can cause cancer, what are the symtoms?

No, suppositories are only glycerine which isn't harmful.  But the first thing you need to do is find out why you have to constantly use something to have a BM.  You need to rule out any intestinal problems you may have. Until you can see your doctor, try Miralax, it's non-habit forming and over the counter.  Check your diet and makes sure you are getting enough fiber, but not too much, and plenty of fluids. Bleeding and an achiness in your lower abdomen at the same time are 2 symptoms of colon cancer, but there are others. See your doctor.
