I've been chronically constipated for years. I think it is a genetic thing because my sister has the same problem, my dad did too and so did his mother. I always hear that there isn't enough fiber in my diet, but that isn't the issue because if I eat lots of raw veges and fruit, I will get constipated faster than if I eat soft foods. This is the case even though I drink at least 50 oz. of liquid a day. Usually I drink more than that, but when I get busy I forget so...
Has anybody else found that they get constipated more with lots of fiber?
