What are these symptoms pointing to?

Hi

For the past three weeks, I've been experiencing the following symptoms:

Abdominal pain - Intermittent, moving pain covering the abdominal area below the belly button and at other times across the abdomen above the belly button.  Initially the pain was more towards the left side of the abdomen.

Urge to have a bowel movement - Many times I don't actually have a bowel movement, just the urge to go. When I do go, sometimes it feels as though my bowels haven't completely emptied

Change in bowel movements - Noticed that stools are narrower and softer consistency

Mild nausea - Often times it's low grade but persistent nausea

Would appreciate anyone's input on what could possibly be some causes to investigate further.

Possibly a bile duct obstruction? Things like an enlarged organ or a cyst could push enough to cause this. I had the feeling you described due to a cyst on my pancreas. Since it was causing pain, they just went in and drained it via endoscopy and it was easy as pie.

Just one thought!
Good luck.
