What is in my stool?????

A month ago i discovered stringy white things on my stool. I collected the stool and took it to a walk in clinic and they sent it to a hospital lab to be tested. The tests were negative. Then 2 weeks later I saw the same white stringy things on my stool and I collected it again and went to an E.R. The doctor there said it looked suspicous and left the room. An hour later he came back and said it was not worms (which is what I fear) and he did not know what it was. Now today i have had the same type of stool yet again. I am very upset! Could I possibly have worms even with 2 negative reports? What else could it be? Can mucus look like that? I am so scared and I need help. Also, i am extremely constipated all of the time- have been for a year or so- and I take stool softeners every day. Not sure if this has anything to do with it or not. Should i go see a gastro doctor? PLEASE help em-i am very depressed and devastated over this.  the white things look very strange-and there are LOTs of them. Thanks for your time.

Hello. Parasites are common in people. In my early 20s I started colonic therapy. Different kinds of meat causes different parasites. They come from meats not being fully digested. I about died when I saw a beef worm come out of me! They love sugar. Slow the sugar consumption. Hope that helps. Maybe look into colon hydrotherapy.

1) parasites are REALLY not that common,
2) parasites don't come from undigested meats.  They come from a variety of sources, and survival in undercooked pork is one method.  Anything you ingest will be digested and metabolized within 24-48 hours, max.  The myth that people have undigested portions of meat hanging around in their colon is popular, but unsubstantiated.
3) Colon hydrotheraphy can result in a number of serious problems, including dehydration and electrolye imbalance, and can result in perforation of the bowel, kidney disease, and heart failure.  There is no scientific evidence to support any benefits.
Don’t come from meat??? Pork isn’t meat??? I strongly disagree with curfew X. I have a rare genetic kidney disease called Liddle Syndrome. I have had extensive work done through the Loomis Institute. Red meat takes up to 7 days to digest. When I fought Muay Thai, We had to stay off red meat when we were getting ready for a fight because red meat will slow you down. Digestion in the body happens based on what digestive enzymes you have left.  We are born with a certain amount and that’s it. Chewing gum can activate our digestive enzymes and waste them. So if you do not eat correctly you will not have enzymes to digest the food. Digestion is based off HOW AND WHAT you eat. If one doesn’t eat enough green leafy vegetables a day, you will not have digestive enzymes in your body to digest food. This is why I strongly disagree with CurfewX

Im not a doctor, but I have successfully used a lot of natural medicine.  Internal parasites and worms apparently dont like garlic.    Whole cloves are best - pickled or lightly roasted are easiest whole forms to eat.   Check out this article; there are lots of articles on the internet about healing properties of garlic.   Does your grocery store have an olive bar?  If so they may have pickled/seasoned garlic cloves there - tasty!  Just be careful if you are about to have surgery because garlic, like aspirin, thins your blood.

Diatomaceous earth will help aid in killing those pesky parasites. Been around for ages. Sprinkle on food and the critters will DIE. Might seem strange to eat such a substance but it is what was used back in the old days and is safe for your pets too. Plus you can sprinkle on any hills and your pets when they get fleas.

I'm not sure if my last comment posted since I wasn't signed up and I'm never one here just was hunting for a answer to a different question but I wanted to tell you that I also was in your shoes & long investigating in short taught me this" cleanse for parasites and change eating habits, just know that all animals have parasites and some won't effect you, they may even help??? But hey we deworm our pets and just think parasites lay something like 35 thousand eggs a day"don't quote me"but wow I'm thinking they could get the advantage over me I figured plus they can cause so many different illnesses that if you got rid of the little"some quite large"pests might put a folk out of work.. my point being I have never had a doctor even mention the word parasite right? Get it?  You don't get sick, you don't see doc.  You get rid of parasites "I call hitch hikers" whom survive off you then you feel like you again.  Just know that while your kicking them to the curb you will feel pretty sick because of them dying you know what I mean? Well worth it. Stay strong and get ready for some interesting things picture's just my opinion okay

I do know that if you have dogs, you can get giardia. One gram of dog poop can contain up to 23 million fecal coliform bacteria, and dog poop is also a common carrier of a lot of bad bacteria, one of which is called Giardia.  Humans can get it from loving on their dogs, petting them all the time, and not washing your hands. The symptoms of a human who has Giardia are almost identical to those who have gallbladder issues.  What usually happens is after throwing up 157 times, you start to get dehydrated, & then you decide to drag yourself to the emergency room. I didn't have it. My problem was my gallbladder, but I'll talk about that later. Luckily, my brother-in-law is a surgeon in another state, so he told me to what to ask the doctors to test for (actually his words for "to insist") while I was in the hospital (for the first time in my life) for almost 2-weeks and they still couldn't diagnose my problem. You have to be your own advocate whenever you are sick. They kept wanting to send me home after a week every single day, telling me that my "levels" were "almost" back to normal. I said nope, there is something wrong with me, and I'm sick of going to the emergency room. I'm not leaving hear until we figure out what it is.

You all need to get to a nutritionist...not a Dr. I had these same things in my stool & went to a Dr at least 10 times & took tons of tests- all  negative. Come to find out when I went to a nutritionist I had paraites & candida & massive gut infections that were rieking havoc on my system. I felt terrible all the time...until I was treated & now feel a MILLLION tomes better.I'm tellin ya...........see a nutritionist!!!

Some of us don't have insurance to see a nutritionist. How did they treat you?
Try researching mimosa pudica; and there's a free mini-course online that discusses this.  I have followed some of their advice and bingo:  parasites be gone!   Yes, that's what this sounds like.  https://autoimmuneseries.com  Good luck!

I had a similiar problem a few days ago, I had a regular bowel movement then when I wiped I wiped off "thing" that looked like two fetacinnie (sp) noodles about 5 inches long attached to a quarter sized mass of mucus. It startled me, then I remembered a few days earlier I had a mucus like bowel movement. I haven't called the Dr. yet....

i have the same problem! I just saw these white stringy things in my stool yesterday and two weeks ago. I've also been constipated and fatigued for the past month and a half since the semester started. My mom is from Korea and she said worms were really common when she was in school and advised me to eat a lot of carrots and garlic until she could send me some medicine. I actually first got problems with bloating and constipation at the end of my freshman year in college and it never went away although eating garlic, vegetable juices, aloe, and goldenseal root powder used to help.
