abdominal pains

A couple of inches to the right of my naval i have been getting pains over the last 5 weeks. The pain comes on very strong and can range from 3-4 seconds to a few minutes. The frequency of pain also ranges from several times a day to nothing on other days. I have had an Ultrasound done, Xray and blood and urine tests in hospital. All came back negative. I have seen 2 different doctors with 2 different possibilities. I van only say for sure that it is always the same spot the pain shows.I am a 37m year old male with no history of any illness. Nothing has changed in my life to contribute to this condition.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well my first thought that came to mind was appendicitis...but the time frame doesnt fit...what you could check into would be maybe a a pulled or strained muscle on the interior of the abdominal wall...i just recently pulled a muscle in my inguinal area...hurts like crazy...i thought it was appendicitis or something crazy turns out inguinal ligament got strained real bad and is causing shooting pains into my back and lower chest...takes about six to eight weeks to heal! similar to the symptoms you were talking about

Abdominal pain can be very hard to diagnose, but I'd ask about upper and lower endoscopy.  Maybe the upper needs to be push enteroscopy to check below your stomach, if your insurance would go along with it.
