acid reflux and headaches

I have been experiencing acid reflux, abdominal cramping and excessive bloating for over a year now.  I have tried giving up different foods, acidic foods and beverages and nothing seems to help.  I have had endoscopy, colonoscopy and ultra sound as well as blood work and everything comes out normal.  I have tried Nexium, Asiphex and most other acid inhibitors but none seem to really help.  I have been taking Nexium daily for about 4 months since it is the only one that gives me a little relief, but over all I constantly feel sick.  In addition to these symptoms I feel nausea and my recent symptom is regular daily headaches that seem like sinus head aches but also pressure behind my eyes.  Oh, and I also have had bad joint pain in my elbows and knees.  My doctors can't figure out what is wrong with me and I am just looking for relief.  I have lived a generally healthy life and have never had these issues in the past.  They are affecting my daily work and personal life and I am still seeking some answers.
Any suggestions???

Hi Clare,
It's nice to know that I'm not the only one going through this.  I have been taking Nexium daily and also an anti-allergy med but it doesn't seem to help much.  I still get the headaches, but mostly it's the acid reflux and joint pain.  Do you suggest anything else?

Just picked up your message which is a mirror image of my own symptoms.  My headaches were most days for about 3 months and through persistent use of Nexium 40mg daily they have mostly subsided.  Was really nauseous too which went on for months.  I have been feeling alot better now for about 2 months, I do get the odd day or days of feeling sick but through the use of Benadryl (some people have recommended this on other posts) and up to 3 Motillium a day I seem to be fairing better.  Us GERD people needs meds, some days we need more some days not so much.  Take care.  Clare
