A lot of OTC things can make the numbers go up a bit, but typically not to the point that you would be having levels that could be construed as pancreatitis.
And if you're having black stools - and you can't account for the color change due to something you're eating or taking - that typically suggests bleeding in the bowel and it needs to be followed up on.
What have you been taking that you think might account for a hike in the numbers?
is there anything you can take over the counter to make those numbers jump?
Make sure you're checked for autoimmune pancreatitis.
