anyone ever use moviprep?

I am having a colon done on thurs, my script was for moviprep, there are 2 ways to do the prep all in one day or half one day and the other half the day of the colon. I called my Drs. office and the secretary said do the two days, the 2 nd day 4 hours before the colon, that means i would have to get up at 3 am since i need to be at the hospital at 7. a m. i have had 4 other colons done and used different things but never used anything that you took the day of the colon.  I am about ready to cancel the procedure.

thanks for any in put

I agree with you, the instructions say to take the 2 nd half 1 hour before leaving for the colon, I sure don't trust that at all. I am goiung to do the entire thing the night before.

About what time did you start the 1 st part and how long untiil the 2 nd? Did you eat jello that day and what sorts of drinks?.

I used MoviPrep and did the one day prep. I would recommend the one day prep. Quite fankly, I think it would be too close to the procedure to use it 4 hours prior. I am not a Dr., but I think you would be much better off going the one day route. MoviPrep does what it is intended to do, but I thought it was one of the easier and better preps that I have used. Good luck with your prcedure.
