colonoscopy/EDG

I underwent this two things yesterday morning.I was told that they found a lump on my throat and they had to remove it and send it to biopsy. But i been having chest pain since yesterday and i don't know if that's normal. Could someone help me please

The possible issue with these procedures is that the scope
may damage (perforate) the the lining of the esophagus,stomach, duodenum or colon, specially when there's already a pre-existing pathology which has caused a compromise in the connective tissue of the lining. It could also be a reaction to the medicine
you were administered, prior to the procedure..
But as the previous poster mentioned, this is a reportable incident and you should notify your doctor asap!
