enlarged spleen. spots on liver/kidney

For over ten years I've experienced issues with stomach cramping, diarrhea,  bad breath and bitter taste in mouth.  Over the years and many tests I've be diagnosed with his hiatal hernia,  lpr (type of acid reflux). Iron amenia and b12. They also found a patchy area  years ago when an endoscopy/colonoscopy was done in my terminal ileum colon.  Recently a ct scan revealed a small lesion on my liver 1.2cm. I had an mri and it was not a hemangioma. My doc ordered biopsy my the radiologist thought it was risky and due to my age suggested we test again in 6 months.  I waited almost a year. This latest scan showed the same enlarged spleen but slightly bigger,  the same lesion on my liver and the addition of another lesion on the liver and one om my kidney.  These are all considered small cm size. So I'm getting another mri... Any thoughts as to what could be going on?  My doctor doesn't seem to be tracking things the way I think he should.  Thank you

Hi and sorry for the late reply. Understand your anxiety. Depending upon the echogenicity, the borders and the shadows created a near correct diagnosis can be made with imaging studies. This is again correlated with the liver function tests. Besides hemangiomas, others which can cause similar pictures are tumors and cysts. If there is a doubt then a liver biopsy may be needed. Again a follow up may be mandatory to see for changes in the lesions noted. And depending on your clinical symptoms your doctor may plan for further tests like PET scan or a biopsy. Take care.

I should note that blood tests in the past were normal.  Aside from anemias. He is retesting blood.
