hida scan

I was diagnosed with gerd, which had inflamed my voice box and esophogus.  I went in for a scope where the doc removed a polyp off my voice box.

Before this I had some stomache pain, heart burn, and bouts of diareeha.

I went to a gastoligist.  Had a upper endoscopy, all normal, ultra sound, all normal.

He did a hiatial scan where he simulated a fatty meal with my gall bladder.

During and after the scan I experianced sever pain in my left side under my rib, which radiated into my back.   The scan showed my gall bladder working at 68%

After this scan I was miserable.  Nausea, vomiting, diareeha, pain. light headedness,    I couldn't eat.

After a visit in the er where they did a ct scan and blood work,  they found nothing wrong.

I was sent to the er from work.  The Emts who checked me out at work foung a rapid irregular pulse,  elevated blood pressure (190/80)  clammy skin,

Again everything was normal.

My GP has upped my prilosec to 80m.  I was takin 40 mm a day.

In less than 3 hours the pain diminished in my left side.

Now in more than a month I am actually hungery.

I just would like a ball park answer as to what is wrong with me.

The gastroligist wasnt very forthcoming with info.   All he said is it might be the ducts.

I have been on a total no fat diet.  I eat only veggies, fruit, whole wheat bread, some fish, rice,
No dairy, red meat or fats of any kind.  If I make a mistake on my diet it makes me very sick.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  It sounds like you might have GERD and also some food intolerances.
