i can not vomit after BLOTCHED nissan fundoplication and near total gastrectomy

Hi, I underwent three stomach operations,, incl. fundoplication and near total gastrectomy due to the damage of vagues nerve, now I have severe achalazie and gastropareses of the remaining part of the stomach and small intestine MY problem is I CAN NOT vomit, since fundopl, even now, I suffer with nausea, cramps, pain, foams, etc etc and can not induce vomiting, not even with self induced methods. this is not normal and I suffer terribly, what can be done, PEG for decompressioning, my life is misery, please help, will provide you with more details, thank you

I would recommend to continue searching for a doctor that will help you.

hello, thank you, this seems much much more difficult as it is, IN CR I only came across doctors that do not emphasize, HOW on earth shall I make them see? I also am not able to travel easily due to the incredible nausea, thank you

It sounds like a G tube would be a good thing for you, I would recommend a second opinion on this.

thank you, I do not have PEG yet, as doctors are reluctant to give me one and do not seem to underestand the hell I am going through every every signle day, the nausea and pain is relentless, lying down is impossible due to cramps and nausea, my doctor have NEVER told me I would not be able to vomit, however I had the wrap removed but still can not vomit, thank you

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Not being able to vomit is actually a common outcome of a fundoplication.  I assume your doctor would have told you this before the surgery.  I didn't understand if you already have a PEG for decompressioning or if you want one.  This might be a good idea to get a PEG tube to be able to relieve your stomach.
