newly diagnosed with pancreas divisum

Pancreas divisum just diagnosed after I had very severe stomach pain with vomiting about 4 weeks ago.  Dr. thought gallbladder, but after MRI found birth defect of pancreas divisum.  Still have pretty constant upper abdominal pain, but not severe and no more vomiting.  Have lost 5+ pounds.  Dr. referred info. to specialist in Mpls., MN waiting for results.  what is treatment?
