pain in abdomen just below rib cage

I am a 19 year old girl,i have pain in my abdomen just below the ribcage slightly to left side from midline for 4 months,the pain is mild and has no particular time of occuring..i had diarrhea almost 1 month back and since then i am not passing normal stools sometimes my stools are dry hard and black other times they are frothy black and other times very watery....i feel a decrease in my apetite and the area where i feel pain is a bit tender on pressing...
what to do?

I would strongly reccommend that you go and see a doctor. I dont have a clue but if u have not seen a doctor go nad the next possible chance.

I have had the same problem for 14 months now.  My issues have been more severe.  First, my pain was only in my abdomen and ribcage in the middle and all along my left side.  The pain would make me double over into the fetal position.  I also had diarrhea, black and watery stools.  I've had a decrease in appetite and lose 40 lbs.  My abdomen and my ribs are tender to the touch.  I also not have sporadic pain at different areas of my back, right thigh, ribs, chest and croin area.  I am a diabetic.  I've had 2 CT scans, 2 MRIs, a MRA, a sickle cell and a stress test done.  All negative.  I need help too.  Can someone give us any clue.
