plz suggest me whether it is a galstone?

i have pain in stomach under rib for 2 weeks. now it pains more. not continuously paining but pain continues for 6 hrs or 8 hrs. y this pain comes? is it gall stone or gas or lever problem?
plz suggest me.

Can you tell more precisely - in inches or centimeters from the middle line. Gallbladder pain is pretty located and it is about 12 cm to the right. This pain often radiates into the back and right shoulder or scapula.

If the pain is more diffuse, it may be from liver.

Gastric pain is more in the middle, if it was gastric ulcus, it would be worse with acidic food, aspirins. If it was duodenal ulcer, it would be more on the right, and worse on empty stomach and at night. Ulcers often go with heartburn and burping. Antacids would help at least a little in ulcer.

Can you list some additinal symptoms, when they started, any nausea, chenge in bowel habit or stool color...?

Right or left side pain, or both?
Pain starts after the meal? Fatty meals may cause strong cramps in gallstones.
