pls help me! my dad had severe rectal bleeding and had a polypectomy done in january. tests showed they were benign. however after a month or so of no bleeding, it started again although not as severe. after defeacation, he sees blood on the tissue. there are days when there is nothin at all and there are days when he even sees a few drops of red blood superficially on the stool.
pls can u advise what the correct management would be ? what could it be ?

In order to be better informed, google rectal bleeding and click on to one of the many sites - the Medicinenet site is particularly informative.  Then I suggest that you seek further medical advice from a G.I. specialist.

Did they remove the benign polyps? Bleeding afterwards is normal, but not this long afterwards. When they did the colonoscopy did they diagnosis him with any hemmorhoids? Hemmorhoids, especially severe ones, can cause all of these symptoms.
