should i worry?

Hi

my mom is 53 years, she is a non smoker and drink occasionally. She was having trouble swallowing (mild) and occasional sore throat. Her GP recommended a endoscopy. The report came back today. since Her GP is not available untill monday so i am sharing her in this community.

I dont have a detailed report as she shared her report to me over phone. The summary of report is;

Observation: mucosal break< 5mm
Impression: esophagitis

Should we be concerned about it? Does it indicates esophageal cancer? what might doctor recommend further?
