spasms in my colon

I have very painful spasms in my colon quite regularly that is like a cramp that moves my colon around on the right side. It lasts sometimes for a minute or two. Is there anything that causes this. You can actually see the colon moving. It seems to be getting more and more painful as it continues.

Thank you for your information. I will start a food diary today. Hopefully that will be a start to finding the problem.

I don't have an answer but found that a hot shower or hot water on the area help me with my cramps. Mine are almost 24/7 never stop. Doctors still can't identify. My allergist thinks food allergy causing irritation. But it could also be constipation, irritation, no idea. I'll watch your post for answers too. Mine has been going on for years. Still no answers.

What I can recommend is keeping a food diary. See if it happens more with specific foods.
