stomach hurts

I have Gerd, and IBS.. have had it for years and years.  Most of the time, the prilosec manages the Acid reflux.  My IBS acts up often but if I watch what I eat, its manageable.  The past few months off and on, I get a rumbly stomach, and very gassy at times.  But what concerns me is the off and on pain on the upper right side and left side too.. almost under my breastbone, but seems to be upper stomach?  Its sharp but doesn't stay all day... off and on... could this be from my meals and  the acid reflux?

So celiac disease causes upper pain/discomfort in the right and left upper stomach?  Its right below the breasts.. and its off and on... then I was gassy.. now I got nothing , and am constipated?  I guess this is what IBS does to you.

I had my gallbladder out 20 yrs ago..  now since this has happened, I HAVE not had the pain, but I am constipated 2 days now!!!!!!

Generally, IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion. This means that there are multiple maladies with similar symptoms. These include things such as celiac disease or gallbladder disease. I have been amazed at how many patients have had their "IBS" cured when I took out their gallbladder which had never been worked up.

It sounds just like what I've had, and mine turned out to be gallstones and Celiac disease.
