i had my gall bladder removed.  I have two large stones, one inch in diameter.  I had sever pain and couldn't not keep food down.  I went to my doctor and to wait to schedule surgery.  If you have surgery while you are having an attack your gall bladder will be inflamed and your scare will be quite large.  If you wait until your attack is subsided then the doctor will be able to do scopic surgery and take it out of your belly button area and you will only have 3 tiny scars.  If the pain is too intense to stand go the the emergency room.  Everyones level of pain is different.    Good Luck.

Hi there:

I'm just wondering how you are doing?  Did you have your gallbladder removed yet?  How is the pain level now?

All the best,

Sam

i have had stanes, and i dont think your pains sound like stones,,,i dont see where the severe bloating would have anything to do with stones.
that all sounds more gastro to me!
pains from stones should be on one side or the other, mine started in my left belly regian, and then migrated to my lower right back.
gullbladder problems tent to be more central or slightly on right side, and migrate through to center back,or just below right shoulder blade.
defanently sounds more gastro to me.
those stones too big to pass?
and there is not much short of morphine that takes the edge off kiidney stones!!

I'm so sorry to hear that you are suffering.  If the pain is worse and you can't manage it on your own, I would go in to the emergency room.

Many people are helped by gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy) however many of us are not.  I hope you are one of the lucky ones!

Let us know how you make out?

Good luck, God bless and Godspeed,

Sam
