stomach pains, sweating and being sick.

ive been getting these stomach pains every now and then which are really bad. when i get the pains i start sweating and shaking and can feel my arms and hands tingling. last night i went to bed at 10.30pm and at 11.30pm i woke up with the stomach pains. i took 2 rennie tablets as i seem 2 think that the pains was indigestion, then a few minutes later i started sweating and shaking and getting the horrible tingles. i sat on the toilet to see if i could empty my bladder and i started emptying my bowels and then quickly had to lean over the bath as i was heavily being sick. all this went on for about 30 mins and once i was sick the pains went and i seemed better. this is the first time i have been sick with these pains, but the pains and sweating i have had on a number of times. i have been to my doctors once and explained the pains i was having and the doctor told me to lie on the bed while she felt my stomach. she said my stomach felt nice and soft and that she thinks i have probably had a bug. the thing is though these pains have been coming back and for, for months now and the pain is dreadfull, and then last night was the first time i was sick. what do u think this could be and what can i do to stop these pains as it is dreadfull.

First I am sorry about your severe pain I know it is not just discomfort. You have the same symptoms that I have and I have been diagnosed with Gastroparesis.  My pain is right below my right breast and goes all the way thru to my back and severe pain.  I have the sweats, tingeling of my hands,  vomiting and I never know how long an episode will last (sometimes 15 min and others upwards to an hour and 1/2).  I had botox injections in my stomach last October and for the first 4 months after that I had no pain at all and it did not matter what I ate.  Then they came back about 1 or 2 a month and keeps increasing.  You can go onto the Mayo Clinic website and type in gastroparesis and that is the most information available that i am aware of.  Please let me know if you are diagnosed with something different.  I would pretty much do anything to live with out the pain that I have.  Good Luck!

i dont think i have food poisining as the stomach pains are on a regular basis and  have been coming and going for several months now. when i was sick the other night that was a one off, as i have never been sick with the pains before. when i do get the pains i usually get the sweats and the tingling in my arms and hands. i really dont no what to do because when i went to my gp then just didnt seem intersted. but its getting to the point i feel on edge alot as im worried the pains are going to come back and its really unbearable. the pain is always underneath my right breast and sometimes is in the centre of my stomach. do you have any ideas of what it could be and what i can? thaks again for my reply.

Sounds like either food poisoning or a violent allergy. Stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting and sweating are typical signs that your body is trying to rid itself of something.
If you are certain that it is not the flu or any other viral infection then I suggest taking a good look at your diet. Eliminate any possible causes of what is making you so sick and stay as hydrated as possible.
