ulcer advice?

so for the past week i have been having bad stomach pain like right under my breast bone, nothing is helping it, i keep tasting blood and food isnt helping food makes it worse. so my doctor put me on some meds for gastritis, well those made the pain 20 times worse i was crying i couldn't breathe my stomach just hurt. I was taken off of them Monday, well then I went to er to get scoped for the ulcer, and well all the hospital did for me was give me Maalox and stuff so i didn't throw it up. which caused my heart to beat very fast so they gave me pain meds. the blood work came back normal but they would not run any other test on me because i did not seem to be an emergency after they doped me up. I am home and in pain i take pepcid which gives me worse diarrhea then i had and more Maalox nothing is working, I am still in pain I am still tasting blood, i have no apatite and im dizzy and just so uncomfortable. my regular dr wants me to get an upper GI which i can not afford because he wants to see where the ulcer is, the hospital just says i have heartburn, I know heartburn and this is not it, this is pain like someone is tearing my stomach a part and its a sharp pain even into my back, everything makes it hurt worse. So does anyone know any ways to make it hurt less? I am trying to get some medical asstance so i can pay for the tests. Any ideas or advice is welcome.

when i had my ulcers i was on doubled zantac and a PPI  (i would stay away from Prilosec-to much sodium watch out for Sodium Bicarbonate products)-- both are available OTC, take for 6 to 8 weeks----watch your diet, do your research...good luck!...
