Yes, i have actually had 4 ultrasounds. the sac looks ok, but no heartbeat. I go back in 2 days, but am not hopeful and I am cramping and bleeding again today. it may still be too soon to hear the heartbeat but my gut tells me I am going to miscarry again. thanks for you response.

I'm guessing they did an ultrasound??? I'm thinking that it's to soon to hear the heartbeat, or that you are going to miscarry if the cramping and bleeding doesn't stop. I had a miscarrage and the Dr. had ordered a ultrasound, but didn't tell me until a week later that I did miscarry and what they seen on the ultrasound was a cyst. I worked on OB/Gyn for a number of years and I was a bit upset with this Dr. since he called me at work and told me this and I thought I was still pregnant(although) it didn't "feel right". A few weeks later I was getting ready for work and I started having really bad cramping and alot of clots etc. So to make a long story short, that is when i passed the fetus, etc. I went to another Dr.(an actual OB/Gyn Dr. and he said that it wasn't a cyst, that it was the fetus I had passed and he said he was glad that I did otherwise I could have gotten an infection, etc. and the Dr. should have done a D&C. He wasn't to happy. I would wait a bit, especially if you aren't bleeding anymore and the cramping stops, but if not I would go back and make sure I got some straightforward answers and not looking for help on your own. I sure hope everything is okay for you and you'll have a healthy baby. Good Luck
