How long does a body keep producing adrenaline after a extreme pain let's off

I have been in severe pain for over 4 1/2 years. Yesterday the pain dropped off, there is still pain but my head is spinning.

I think it all depends on the individual, I have been doing some research, and it seems the longer a person has been under stress (and pain is certainly a stressor), the longer it takes for the Adrenalin to die down. Also, once your body is used to the stress and pain, the least little thing can trigger again, thus making it even harder the next time for it to calm down.

I think that as you calm down, you will produce less and less of the Adrenalin.

Here is a link to an excellent article about stress and Adrenalin:

Hi and so sorry you have been in pain. Glad it is feeling better. Do you mean you feel anxiety or dizzy? Are you on pain meds and that is why the pain is better or did it get better on its own?  The nerves take a while to get used to the pain being gone or better. You get a pain threshold that is lower,  then as you gradually do more things your pain threshold will get better as the brain sees that you are not in danger. So you may feel stressed or even some pain come and go then it will gradually disappear if the problem is fixed. Or things that triggered it will be less and less. Hope this makes sense.
