OK, here's my situation, I am overweight and that is probably a big contributing factor is my problem. I also have a sedentary job where I sit at a desk all day. I try and exercise, but most of the time, I cannot find the time.
My problem started a few years ago when sleeping if I roll onto my left side, my right arm would fall asleep. If I lay on my right side, no problem. The problem is getting worse, if I have my right arm in a certain position it will fall asleep.
Last week, I took a vacation and spent the week remodeling my bathroom which for me was physically demanding work. Last night, I had trouble sleeping because both arms were falling asleep no matter which way I laid. Today, both arms are tingling but my right arm is throbbing with slight pain and has been slightly asleep all day. I have to move it to get it to wake up and get full feelings back. My fingertips on my left had are numb as well.
I have been to the doctor and they did all kinds of tests, neurology tests found no problems. They did an MRI and found no problems either. What could be causing this problem and how does it relate to physical exertion?
