Black toenail from trauma

I knocked my toenail into the wall while cycling which turned the toenail black. Eventually it starts to recover but before it fully recovers i knocked it into the wall again, and the current state is: http://i.imgur.com/EtSxc1O.jpg
Should i go see a doctor and get it treated, or would it recover by its own somehow?
Will the doctor at a general clinic suffice or do i have to visit a podiatrist?

From the way your toe nail is looking I believe that there is a very good possibility that you are going to lose the toe nail. If that is the case your nail will grow back. I have lost a toe nail before.
