Blood Blister wont go away!

I got a blood blister on my thumb and I've had it for about a month now, it doesn't hurt anymore, even if touch it. I've ignored it but now I'm concerned, it hasn't bled at all, I'm sure its not infected either because as soon as I got it I washed it and put something on it to keep it from infecting.

I am not going to try to frighten you here but I would go see a doctor to have it evaluated.  It really is likely nothing.  They may drain it or leave it. But there is also something to consider. Your thumb would be a bit of a strange location, however, melanoma can be mistaken for a blood blister that won't go away. I would sincerely doubt that. But get it checked.

Hello~It is more than likely nothing to worry about, but if it concerns you, then it would be a good idea to see your physician for peace of mind.
