Blood Transfusion

Anybody find that after a blood transfusion they are hungry and eat non-stop?  Also anyone notice that the arm their transfusion goes in is achy afterwards for like a couple days?

The needle they use although fairly big, go in my hand as they cannot use my arms due to scars and lacerations, so I'm pretty sure the achy arm is something else.  But it makes sense about the hungar.  Thank you for your comment.

These are normal things. The body is making up for the loss of  blood. You should drink a lot of water (8 glasses  a day) for  a few days. The needles are pretty big and will make your arm ache.
