Bump on the side of my leg, not sure what it is.

Well as the title says, I have this bump on the side of my leg, and it's been there for a very long time, I would say since I was 12. I had surgery done on it around 13 years of age, the surgeon cut all the way down to the muscle but he found nothing wrong. The doctor said it could be a line wall on the muscle, but I'm not a doctor, I don't know.

A little more info on it, whenever I do any kind on jogging or running long distances it will start hurting, and it feels like someone is poking me with something hot. And also something weird I found with it the last couple days, when I run up stairs it will kind of twitch or pulsate.

Does anyone know what it is?

The sooner you go get it checked out, the better it would be for you.
I don't think you'd get a proper "diagnosis" for something of that nature without actually going to a doctor.

Maybe you should try having it checked with a different doctor?,
Especially now that it's bothering you.
They may have different things to say about it.
