Can this cause a concussion?

My boyfriend shifted positions in bed last night and his arm forcefully collided with my jaw/chin. It really hurt my jaw initially and it still feels pretty tense with a dull ache on that side about an hour later. I have tmj and that's the side of my jaw that pops in place the most so that of course doesn't help. However, I know habe a headache on that side of my head. Should I be concerned that the blow Could be given me a Concussion? He didn't make contact with my head at all, but I worry. I know it was an accident by GEEZ this is probably the third time I've been elbowed in the face in the middle of the night! I need to invest in a helmet or face guard. Lol
