Chronic thoracic back and chest discomfort

I am a 30 year old female. My problems started about a year ago. I was 8 months pregnant and constantly felt like I had pressure on my chest. The doctor told me it was normal and it was just the baby moving things around. Fast forward to after the baby was born. Things never got better. I have a constant ache that wraps from my middle back around to my ribs and sternum and is there 24/7. I have had every medical test known to man kind and yet doctors still can't find anything wrong. I had an MRI of my thoracic spine which showed very mild degenerative disc disease but doctors assure me that wouldn't be causing me pain. I have been to physical therapy, chiropractors, massage therapist, amongst many other things and yet the pain is still there. Pain relievers such as Motrin or aleve or aspirin don't touch the pain. I feel like I can't expand my chest and back when breathing. Almost as though something is stuck. The pain never leaves me. Some days is better than others. It's a constant dull ache. The pain isn't a stabbing type
Pain. It feels as though my mid section is in a vice and it's a very deep pain. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am desperate to feel normal again. I have two kids and it's really affecting my quality of life.

You've had every test I would have recommended, so I'm as baffled as you are. Since this pain is located in your thoracic spine, encompasses your chest area (ribs and sternum) and makes you feel as if you cannot fully expand your lungs, which also produces more back pain, I think I would suggest you see a pulmonologist. It's definitely the next step I would take.
I hope you find the answer soon as I can only imagine how difficult it would be to feel like this and also take care of two children.
I hope you will let us know what you find out.
Best of luck,
