Dark lump inside corner of my mouth

I have a small dark bump just inside the corner of my mouth. I read somewhere on the internet that it could be a fungus because when you sleep on your side saliva collects in the corner of your mouth. If this is a fungus (gross) how do I get rid of it?  Maybe a salt water rinse?

Thanks.

That's interesting. I get canker sores from stress. So maybe this is stress related. Thanks.

I get the blood blisters in response to stress!  Then I can get quite a few that stay for sometime.  I cannot think of anything else but maybe someone else may come up with another avenue?

I had not thought of that. But it has been there so long that I don't think it was from biting my mouth. And I seem to be getting one on the other side, as well. Thank you for your response.

Have you thought of a blood blister? Maybe you bit the side of your mouth at some point.
